一日本人因为“累得走不动道”而去偷警车代步
TOKYO (Reuters) - A Japanese man told police he stole a patrol car that had been left idling outside a post office in Gunma, north of Tokyo, because he was too tired to walk home.
最近在位于日本首都东京以北的群马县发生了一件令人颇感诧异的事，一名男子看见一辆停放在某邮局门外的警车内空无一人，便悄悄溜进车内并将其开走，而导致此人偷车的原因竟然是他当时感觉自己实在是太累了以至于没有力气步行回家。
Police officers had left the vehicle in the car park with the engine running, while they investigated a report that a stolen card had been used at the post office, the Mainichi newspaper said on Tuesday.
据路透社2月6日报道，由于接到有人曾经在这家邮局里使用偷来的信用卡的报案，多名警官立即前往进行调查，他们将所驾警车在不熄火的情况下停放在该邮局门外。
"I came out shopping by train, but I got tired walking, so I thought I would drive the police car home," the man told police.
该男子向警方说：“我那天恰好坐火车出来购物，但实在是走得太累了，于是我想倒不如干脆就开着那辆警车回家吧。”
He was apprehended about 15 minutes later in the driveway of a private home, about 4 kms (2.5 miles) from the post office, the Mainichi said.
警方在事发大约15分钟后便于一处私人住宅门外将此人抓获，而该地点与那家邮局的距离约为4公里。
