Materials

• 1 sheet 7-count plastic canvas
• 8 (4 1/2-inch) Darice plastic canvas radial circles
• Uniek Needloft plastic canvas yarn as listed in color key
• #16 tapestry needle

 

Stitching Step by Step

1. Cut plastic canvas according to graphs, cutting away gray area on coasters (circles). Four coasters will remain unstitched.

2. Stitch two coasters with red as graphed, leaving the outside row of stitches unworked at this time. Stitch two coasters replacing red with black. Place one unstitched circle behind each stitched circle; join together by working the outside row of stitches.

3. Stitch holder pieces following graphs. Using red throughout, Whipstitch front and back to sides,Whipstitch front, back and sides to base. Overcast top edges.
