BEIJING, July 26 -- China's Ministry of Education has warned Chinese students against 60British universities of which their qualifications of recruiting overseas students have beensuspended.
British Home Office has recently suspended the application qualifications of GlyndwrUniversity issuing Tier 4 visas to international students, the qualifications of issuingadmission letters confirmation letters to international students issued by University ofWest London and University of Bedfordshire.
The Home Office also suspended qualifications of recruiting international students by other57 private colleges. Those universities and colleges will be investigated by Britishgovernment.
The Ministry of Education suggested in the warning that those Chinese students whoreceived admission letters from universities and colleges concerned do not go to Britain.The visa application of students who have received confirmation of admission letters will beturned aside.
In addition, international students who are in Britain will not be affected. Internationalstudents already in colleges of which qualification of recruiting international students willnot be affected either.
The Ministry of Education urged students, their parents and intermediary agencies to payattention to the related information.
