 get on (well)with sb.和某人和睦相处=get slong (well)with sb.
Also, my elder brother is not very nice to me.而且我哥哥对我也不是很好。
elder,年纪较长的,只可以指人,比较年龄长幼,尤其指兄弟姐妹的长幼关系,只能做定语。
older,年龄较大,较老,较旧,可以指人也可以指物,可以做定语也可以做表语。
