Needling Chorea-Tremble Control Area for Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease is a chronic disease, commonly seen in the middle-aged and old. It manifests as tremor, muscular rigidity, slow and unsteady gait, and ect.

 

Acupuncture can effectively relieve the related symptoms, slow down progression of the disease, and improve patients’ life quality. The chorea-tremble control area is often selected in the treatment.

Location: Parallel with and 1.5 cm anterior to the Motor Area Line.

Indication: tremble (tremor) and chorea

Acupuncture methods: 3-5 (#30, 1 Cun) needles are inserted horizontally into the area, 0.5-0.8 Cun in depth.

Note: needle the right chorea-tremble control area if the left part of the body trembles, and vice versa.

帕金森病针灸治疗--舞蹈震颤区

帕金森氏病是一种中老年人常见的慢性疾病，主要表现为震颤、肌僵直、运动迟缓和姿势步态不稳等。针灸治疗，可以有效地改善患者的症状，减缓病情的进一步进展，提高患者的生存质量。其中舞蹈震颤区是针灸治疗帕金森病临床常常针刺的部位。

定位：在侧头部，位于头针运动区前1.5cm的平行线。

针刺方法：可用30#1寸不锈钢毫针3～5支平刺，深度约0.5～0.8寸。

附注：左侧肢体震颤针刺右侧舞蹈震颤区，右侧肢体震颤针刺左侧舞蹈震颤区。
