Xiao Chan Point for Parkinson's Disease

Location

Xiao Chan is located at the medial forearm, in the depression, 0.5-1 Cun inferior to HT 3 (Shaohai).

Indications

Acupuncture or massage on Xiao Chan relieves tremors of patients with Parkinson’s disease, slows down the disease progression, and improves patients’ life quality.

Acupuncture method

Perpendicularly insert the needle, 0.8-1.2 Cun in depth.

Notes

The point is selected based on a practitioner’s rich experience. 

It’s often applied together with the scalp acupuncture on Chorea and Tremor Control Area.

帕金森病针灸治疗--消颤穴

定位：

消颤穴位于前臂内侧，在少海穴前0.5～1寸处的凹陷中。

 

主治：

临床上针刺或揉按对于减轻帕金森氏病患者的震颤症状有显著作用，可以有效地改善患者的症状，减缓病情的进一步进展，提高患者的生存质量。

 

操作：直刺0.8～1.2寸。

 

附注：经验取穴，常配合头针的舞蹈震颤区使用。
