一个口诀，三分钟拿下hundred和hundreds的用法

在考试中，我们常常要遇到或者考到这几个数词和它们的复数形式：

hundred百, hundreds of几百，成百上千

thousand千, thousands of几千，成千上万

million百万, millions of成千上万，几百万

billion十亿, billions of几十亿

在表达中，根据意思的需要，使用它们，没有问题。

比如：我看见一百个人

可以说：I see one hundred people.

我看见几百个人

可以说：I see hundreds of people.

但是，在填空题和改错题中，我们就必须能够判断它们是不是用对了。

这里有一个口诀，可以立刻把拿下：

有s，有of；没s，没of.

有数词，没s，没of.

例子：

1] About two hundreds student took the exam for it, but only ten were chosen.

hundred前面有two，数词，hundred不应该加s，当然后面也不会有of

2] In the morning of April 29, 2008, hundreds of millions of middle schools got together here.

hundreds,有s，有of，没错。

millions，有s，有of，也没错。

3] The students have planted millions trees.

millions,有s，就要有of.
