Welcome to First Transit at TransLink!

We are very excited to work with the employees who have been providing services to this community and welcome you to our team! 

Please follow these instructions as we transition you to our team:

 

1. Please click the PINK BUTTON below to fill out an application for your current position.  Please be sure to enter your current address even though this field shows as optional.

2. Click on the ONBOARDING PACKET PDF attachment below to download your employment documents. Please fill out these forms, print them, and bring them with you to one of our open house events.  (Note:  If you experience an error trying to download the packet, please do not worry.  This will be emailed to you, as well as available onsite at the event.)

3. Please bring the following documents to the event:

• Driver's License
• Voided cheque OR direct deposit information from your online bank account OR letter issued from your financial institution
• BC Health Care Card
• Social Insurance Number
• For MSP form - documents, or photocopies of documents, that support the name and Canadian citizenship or immigration status for all persons to be listed on the form

If possible, please also bring:

• Proof of coverage under the current benefit program OR proof of other coverage if you wish to waive health/dental
• If not contributing to CPP, please bring your 'Election to Stop to CPP'

4. Come meet us at one of our onboarding events!  We kindly ask that you attend the onboarding event outside of your work hours to prevent disruption of service to the customers and client.

Monday March 12 - 11 AM to 9 PM		Friday March 23 - 9 AM to 7 PM
Tuesday March 13 - 9 AM to 7 PM		Saturday March 24 - 9 AM to 5 PM
Wednesday March 14 - 7AM to 2 PM		Sunday March 25 - 8 AM to 4 PM

 

We encourage you to fill out the online application and paperwork before the event to reduce wait time.  Assistance will also be provided onsite at the onboarding events.
