“名词
+ and + 名词” 有一特殊用法，用于表示比喻（明喻）。 结构中的 and + 名词 是“象 …… 一样”的意思。大家熟悉的英语谚语 Time and tide wait for no man（岁 月不待人）就是典例，时间（岁月）跟潮水一样是不会等待任何人的。? “名词 + and + 名词”结构多见用于英语谚语。 1）A word and a stone let go cannot be recalled. 一言既出，驷马难追。 （说出去的话像扔出去的石头是收不回的。） 2）Kings and bears often worry their keepers. 伴君如伴虎。（待在国王身边与待在熊身边一样常让人担忧。） 3）Love and
