1 The 3rd Asia Cardiac Arrhythmia Summit (ACAS) has been held successfully on July 20-21th, 2018 in Beijing. This year, the ACAS organizing committee set up a brand new session called “the Master Class”, and invited Professor Samuel J. Asirvatham from Mayo Clinic to give us a wonderful lecture regarding the outflow tract ventricular tachycardia. During the lecture, Professor Samuel shared his own experiences on the anatomy feature, ECG morphology, mapping and ablation of different kinds of outflow tract VTs. Asirvatham is currently a professor of medicine in the division of cardiovascular diseases and a professor of pediatrics in the division of pediatric cardiology at Mayo Clinic. He is not only a consultant in cardiac electrophysiology, but also the program director for the clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship and director of strategic collaboration for the center for innovation at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Professor Samuel J. Asirvatham has published more than 400 papers in peer-reviewed journals so far and now serves as the senior associate editor of《Circulation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology》. 4           |
