《Christmas Mice 》 小老鼠过圣诞节 It was early Christmas morning. Santa had come in the night and left presents for everyone. No one was awake yet, except for two little mice. 那是一个圣诞节的早晨。 圣诞老人昨晚来啦，他给每个人都留下了礼物。 还没有人醒来呢，除了这两只小老鼠以外。 They climbed up the Christmas tree to look at the ornaments. 它们爬上了圣诞树，想看看漂亮的装饰品。 They looked at the Christmas candies on the shelf. 它们看到了架子上的圣诞糖果。 Then they looked under the tree. Santa had put a picture book there…… 然后它们往树下看。 圣诞老人放了一本图画书在那里… ……and a castle with solders…… …还有一座有士兵的城堡… ……and a blue dollhouse …… …一所蓝色的玩具小屋… ……and a bright-red racing car…… …一辆鲜红鲜红的跑车… There were cookies and gingerbread. There was even a gingerbread house. 那儿有曲奇和姜饼。 甚至还有一所姜饼做的屋子呢。 Santa had not forgotten to leave two dolls, one large and one small…… 圣诞老人没忘记留下两只娃娃，一只大的，一只小的…
……and lots of cuddly toy animals. …还有好多好多玩具动物，让人看了就想抱在怀里呢。
There were presents for everyone, wrapped in prettypapers and ribbons. 还有给每个人的礼物，它们是用漂亮的纸和丝带包装起来的。
And there was a real , live puppy for the whole family. But had Santa forgotten the two little mice? 还有一只真的，活的小狗狗，是送给全家人的。 但是圣诞老人好像把两只小老鼠给忘啦？
No-he had left them a big piece of cheese. Merry Christmas, little mice! 才不是呢！——他给小老鼠们留下了一块大奶酪。 圣诞快乐，小老鼠们！ |
