Hello, everyone! My name is Thomas in Class 1, Grade3 of Yale School in Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong Province.

Recently there is a very big bad monster traveling around China and even all around the world. Do you know the monster? I made a lapbook about it. Look, here it is. Let me introduce it to you. Its name is Novel Coronavirus. This new virus maybe came from the bats in a seafood market in Wuhan. Now it's growing, getting out of hand. More than thirty thousand people have fallen sick with sneezing and wheezing. So we have to fight the virus. Many doctors and nurses have gone to Wuhan to help the sick people. I am very sad to hear that a doctor named Li Wenliang died of the virus. It is really a pity!

As students, we should stay at home, get enough sleep, drink plenty of water and do more sports to maintain our health. When we sneeze and wheeze, cover with a tissue. Wear a mask if we have to go outside. But do you know how to wear a mask? Let me show you:

1. Wash your hands;

2. Place the mask over you face;

3. Adjust the nose piece;

4. Fit the mask to your face and under your chin.

And we also need to wash our hands often. I'll show you how to wash your hands:

Step 1: Rinse your hands;

Step 2: Use soap;

Step 3: Wash between fingers;

Step 4: Wash the back of the hands;

Step 5: Wash the base of the thumbs;

Step 6: Wash fingernails;

Step 7: Wash the back of fingers;

Step 8: Wash the wrists;

Step 9: Rinse again.

Step 10: Dry with clean towel or tissue.

Here are four things you can't do:

1. Don't lick your fingers;

2. Don't pick your nose;

3. Don't rub your eyes;

4. Don't contact and eat wild animals.

And now we must fight together to beat the virus. I hope I can go to school soon. I miss my friends very much. Wuhan, come on! China, come on! We will win!
