By reflecting the traveling crowd, mirroring the moving posture of the characters, using this powerful medium and making it play a role of fun, it often produces surprising and even humorous elements - like the sudden start of painting on the LED flight screen at the airport or the sudden start of dancing on the small sign at the traffic lights. -- Julian Opie 2019 Julian Opie Composite materials 综合材料·装置 Julian Opie Julian Opie, installation, Berlin Julian Opie, Dublin Julian Opie, Bobby Julian Opie,Monique, businesswoman-housewife Julian Opie, Night motorway .2, 2017 Julian Opie,Hirofumi with staff Julian Opie, installation, Berlin Bryan plays guitar. 2006 Julian Opie, Elly Jualian Opie,Finn Julian Opie 朱利安·奥培 | The portrait gradually becomes the protagonist of the landscape of opie. Since he graduated from goldsmiths college, university of London in 1982, the earliest works of opie focus on architectural space and artificial objects, and the style tends to be minimalist. The portrait gradually moves to the foreground from the setting of the architecture, and becomes the modern landscape repeatedly expressed by opie. Drawing on elements from ancient Egyptian reliefs, Roman busts, pop art and Japanese manga, he experimented with different structures and forms and repeated the same series with various materials and techniques. |
