春节前夕收到了澳大利亚诗人Rob Schackne的诗《Listening  to Li Bai 》，我也写了一句话赠与，算是一支春歌吧，以表春节的祝贺，在此也一并献给大家：

A good dream becomes a song of bird of spring to back round me .( 一个美好的梦变成了春天鸟儿的歌声环绕着我。)

下面让我和大家一起分享澳大利亚诗人Rob Schackne的诗《Listening  to Li Bai 》。

Sitting on the porch

Waiting for the rain to stop

I dream of poems, then

A lifetime of travel

One dream after another

riding here to there

all the villages we passed

the king words & laughter

the art of captivity

how far do you go

the horses were impassive

we might’ve turned back

*Written after I’d just finished Ha Jin’s excellent and very evocative recent biography of Li Bai, the great 8th century Tang dynasty  poet.
