 第一次听到这首歌是在《fight club》的结尾：“杀掉”泰勒的杰克，惊恐万分的玛拉，十指紧握，看着窗外的大楼慢慢坍塌，start，鼓点、吉他应声响起，瞬间觉得整部电影都升华了。
pixies乐队来自八十年代的美国波士顿，音乐风格融合了朋克、吉他摇滚等乐风，虽然一直不被主流媒体接受及待见，但是丝毫不影响其成为当时最具影响力的独立摇滚乐队。Kurt Cobain也是pixies忠实的粉丝。 “哀嚎式的Vocal、狂风暴戾般的吉他、稳定的贝斯声线及鼓、偶尔穿插冷酷无情的女合声、以及充满幻想暴力式的歌词，都让Pixies不像一般美国硬摇滚乐团那么简单；也让他们在波士顿乐界，成为传奇性的名字、在欧洲成为颇有启发领导性的乐团。” ——转自虾米的乐队介绍
无独有偶，美剧《Mr. Robot》中选了Maxence Cyrin钢琴版的《where is my mind》做BGM。剧中的主人公Eliot——没错，扮演者正是《波西米亚狂想曲》的男主角rami malek——跟杰克一样，患有严重失眠及人格分裂。简单点说，这部剧就是《fight club》+《v字仇杀队》的电视剧版本。
