形容词的翻译

1.转换为名词

（1）the+一类人

eg:They did their best to help the sick and the wounded.

他们尽了最大的努力帮助病号和伤员。

（2）表示事物状态、性质等的形容词，可翻译成“...性”“...感”“...度“等

eg:The more carbon the steal contains, the harder and stronger it is.

钢的含碳量越大，强度和硬度就越大。

2.转换为动词

Doctors have said that they are nor sure they can save their life.

医生们说他们不敢肯定能否救了他的性命。

It was a very informative meeting.

会议上透露了许多信息。

3.形容词转换为副词

A successful scientist must be a good observer.

一个成功的科学家一定善于观察。

He got into a wrong bus.

他上错了车。

4.独立出来译

In the days that followed I learned to spell in this uncomprehending way a great many words.

在随后的日子里，我就这样学着拼写了许多次，虽然并不理解它们的意思。

The region was the most identifiable trouble spot.

那地区是个动荡的地方，这是最容易看得出的。

副词的翻译

1.转换为名词

He is physically weak but mentally sound.

他身体虽弱，但精神很好。

2.转换为动词

The meeting is over.

会议结束了。

I am afraid I must be off now.

恐怕我一定得走了。

3.转换为形容词

I suppose boys think differently from girls。

我想男孩子的思维与女孩子是不一样的。

He routinely radioed another agent on the ground.

他跟另外一个地勤人员进行了例行的无线电联络。

4.独立出来译

Henry tried unsuccessfully to put out the fire.

亨利奋力灭火，却无济于事。

Illogically, she had expected some kind of miracle solution。

她本期待着会有某种奇迹的解决办法，这是不合常理的。
