你知道如何用分词从句更简洁地表达信息吗？分词从句使我们能够以更简洁的方式表达信息。它们是用现在分词（going、reading、see、walking 等）、过去分词（gone、read、seen、walked 等）或完成分词（have gone、have reading、having seen、having walk等等）形成的。

当主从句中的分词和动词有相同的主语时，我们可以使用分词从句。例如：

Waiting for Ellie, I made some tea. (While I was waiting for Ellie, I made some tea.)
在等艾莉的时候，我泡了一些茶。

分词从句没有特定的时态。时态由主句中的动词表示。分词从句主要用于书面语篇，尤其是文学、学术或新闻文体。

一、现在分词从句

以下是我们使用现在分词从句的一些常用方法。请注意，现在分词与动态动词的含义相似，例如：

1、给出行动的结果

The bomb exploded, destroying the building.
炸弹爆炸了，炸毁了大楼。

2、说出行动的理由

Knowing she loved reading, Richard bought her a book.

3、谈论与另一个动作同时发生的动作

4、添加有关主句主题的信息

二、过去分词从句

以下是我们使用过去分词从句的一些常见方式。注意过去分词通常具有被动意义，例如：

1、具有与if条件类似的含义

2、说出行动的理由

Worried by the news, she called the hospital.

三、完成分词从句

完成分词从句表示他们所描述的动作在主句中的动作之前完成。完成分词可以被构造成主动或被动意义，例如：

Having got dressed, he slowly went downstairs.
穿好衣服后，他慢慢地下了楼。
Having finished their training, they will be fully qualified doctors.
完成培训后，他们将成为完全合格的医生。
Having been made redundant, she started looking for a new job.

四、连词和介词后的分词从句

分词从句，尤其是带有-ing的从句，在连接词和介词后面也很常见，如before 和 after，instead of，on，since，when，while 和 in spite of，例如：

Before cooking, you should wash your hands.

Instead of complaining about it, they should try doing something positive.
与其抱怨，他们应该尝试做一些积极的事情。
On arriving at the hotel, he went to get changed.
