Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again. It seemed to me I stood by the iron gate leading to the drive, and for a while I could not enter, for the way was barred to me. Hello, I'm Stephen, and I'm here to tell you a bedtime story. And this is the story of a little girl called Winnie, who discovers that fantastic beasts might be more than just make-believe. It's called Can You Keep a Secret? It's very old, as old as the town that she lives in. It tells the tale of the fearsome beasts that used to live in the woods all around.
