mycareerinarelatedarea.Despitethereputationofourfaculty,andknowingthata
graduatedegreenearlyguaranteesastablejobinresearchoradmissionintoareputable
doctoralprogram.However,Ihadalreadysetmycareergoalstowardtheventurecapital
industryandIwouldneedtobeginmycareerinarelatedarea.Mydeepdesiretopursuea
futureofventurecapitalistandinmostrisk-orientedspiritoutweighingtheconcernforfuture
uncertainties,ultimatelyprogram,Iturneddowntheofferandstartedbeganmyjourneytothe
venturecapitalindustry.career
