VerticalHeterogeneityAnalysisofBiochemical ParametersinOilseedRapeCanopyBasedonFast ChlorophyllFluorescenceTechnology 1,21,21,2,31,2,3 ZHANGJiafei,WANLiang,HEYong,CENHaiyan (1.CollegeofBiosystemsEngineeringandFoodScience,ZhejiangUniversity,Hangzhou310058,China; 2.KeyLaboratoryofSpectroscopySensing,MinistryofAgricultureandRuralAffairs,Hangzhou310058,China; 3.StateKeyLaboratoryofModernSpectroscopicInstruments,ZhejiangUniversity,Hangzhou310027,China) Abstract:Accurateacquisitionofcropcanopybiochemicalinformationisofgreatsignificanceformonitoringcropgrowthand guidingprecisefertilization.Previousverticaldistributionresearchesofcropbiochemicalinformationweremainlybasedonhy‐ perspectralinversion,whichwaslackoftheassociationofplantphotosynthesisphysiology.Thisstudymainlyinvestigatedthe verticaldistributioncharacteristicsofbiochemicalparameterssuchaschlorophyll,carotenoid,drymatter,andwatercontentin theoilseedrapecanopyunderdifferentnitrogentreatmentsatthemid-seedlingstage.Thephotosyntheticperformanceofleaves wasmeasuredbyusingfastchlorophyllfluorescencetechnology,andlinearregressionandprincipalcomponentanalysiswere furtherimplementedtoexploretheinternalrelationshipbetweenfluorescenceresponseandbiochemicalparameters.Theresults showedthat:(1)Thechlorophyllcontent,carotenoidcontent,drymatterandwatercontentoftherapecanopyatthemid-seed‐ lingstageallshowedaparabolicverticaldistribution,whiletheratioofchlorophylltocarotenoidscontentgraduallydecreases withtheleafpositionandnitrogentreatments,whichwasthesameastheverticaldistributionpatternoffluorescenceparameters suchasdrivingforcecomprehensiveperformance(DF)andendelectronchainquantumyield(φ)andotherfluorescencepa‐ TotalRo rameterscouldbeusedtodiagnosenitrogenstress;(2)JIP-testparameters,especiallyDF,hadagoodperformancetoevalu‐ Total atethechlorophyll/carotenoids,chlorophyllanddrymattercontentofoilseedrapeleaves;(3)Nitrogendeficiencywouldweak‐ enthePSIIandPSIperformanceofoilseedrapeleavesatthemid-seedlingstage,andthemaximumphotochemicalefficiency (φ)couldbeusedtodiagnosenitrogenstress.TherewasasignificantdifferenceinthePSIperformance,namelyelectrontrans‐ Po ferefficiencyattheendacceptorsofleavesinthedifferentleafposition,hencethecomprehensiveperformanceparameterDF Total couldbeaneffectivecharacterizationoftheverticalheterogeneityofcanopybiochemicalparameters.Thesefindingsindicated thefeasibilityofapplyingtherapidchlorophyllfluorescencetechnologytocropbiochemicalinformationheterogeneitymonitor‐ ingandprovidednewideasandtechnicalsupportforguidingprecisefertilizationandachievinghigh-qualityandhigh-yield.
